In my opinion it's great news for America. To wake up to see democracy at work.
I did find it amusing that the result fell on a day that we nearly lost our democracy just over 400 hundread years ago.

Today/tonight is Guy Fawkes Night (also known as Bonfire Night, Cracker Night, Fireworks Night) is an annual celebration on the evening of the 5th of November. It celebrates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot of the 5th of November 1605 in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London, England.
It was wonderful to hear Obama calling us ''America's best friends,'' the relationship between our two great nations is irrefutable.
So many Americans are happy that Obama will bring change and refreshing Democracy to our long-suffering country. I'm one of the happy ones ;0) It's a time of great hope!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending a little time with someone who is very near and dear to me.
She has some serious problems going on and my heart truly did go out to her.
She still needs to learn to prioritise as the thing that was upsetting her the most was infact the least of her problems, but when someone's in love like that it's best not said.
My problem was evident thou, I still haven't really moved on with my love for her. That will now be remedied.
As I tried to help her I was seeing a gulf appear, I know that sometimes a gulf can be spanned and I think it was Milton who once wrote ..... ''He then surveyed Hell and the gulf between.''
But when love is not returned the same way, I ask is that 'gulf' really worth crossing especially when you know your integrity and pride may fall into the abyss whilst trying to get across.
Now I need to stay focused and move on.
I will always be here for my friends, if only they would realize that everytime they leave they take a piece of me with them .... soon there will be nothing to take.
It is wise you realize the love you presented to this person was never returned back to you. Your need for love is important too! To give and give and never receive will truly make you empty and exhaused!
